Taiwan has always been playing an important role which influences Chinese pop culture around the world. Taiwanese sub-culture creation such as pop music, TV shows, singers, communication design, fashion trend etc, has a great effect on Chinese people worldwide. Through movies to see Taiwan, through baseball to understand Taiwan, or through pop culture to know more about Taiwan! From this “anyone can be a star” era to the coincidental geographic location, Taiwan is closely related to Asian culture. FIT Character Design Taiwan 2007 is assembled by Aaron Yi and organized by three experienced curators -Figure designer Mark Chang, Branding Director of Gamania Ahbin Eric Chen, and Animator Yvonne Chiu Yu-Feng. With their experiences, professional perspectives, they lead awarded works in recent years, contemporary artists and exhibited art works including Character in Illustration, Character in Figure and Character in Animation. FIT Character Design Taiwan 2007 not only presents Taiwan also Taiwanese unique culture for standing up to the Asian stage and to international vision.
